Ladies, do you want to look your best and just not have the time? Last weekend at our free monthly workshops in LA and NY, we showed our participants some quick and easy tips for a five-minute make-up for the woman on the go. In case you missed it, here are the products we used and their purpose:

Corrector: for spot correcting
Dual Finish Pressed Mineral Powder: for an even skin tone
Eye Color: for a pop of color
Color Creme or Cheek Color: for warmth on the cheeks
Lip Glaze: for a burst of color on the lips
Travel Brush Kit: for carrying your tools with you anytime, anywhere

Tips to Get Your Own 5-Minute Look:

Face: A fast way to enhance the appearance of your skin is by spot correcting. Correctors, also knows as concealers, are used to counter balance or camouflage unwanted discoloration. The main areas of concern for most people include the blue usually found under the eyes, the redness of blemishes, and/or Rosacea. When working with discoloration under the eyes, look for the undertone of the discoloration. If there is a blue undertone, camouflage the unwanted color with a concealer in the orange family, or one of our blue Correctors. If you’re looking to neutralize unwanted redness from a blemish or Rosacea, choose a concealer in the green/olive tone or one of MUD’s red Correctors. And finally, choose a shade that is close to your skin tone. Use your finger or the #930 Corrector Brush for a precise application. A light dusting of our Dual Finish Pressed Mineral Powder with #710s Powder Blush Brush will even out your skin while minimizing the excess shine.

Eyes: A sheer dusting of your favorite Eye Color on your lids with #330s Shadow Fluff Brush is all you need for a pop of color. Make sure to define your eyes with a coat of Cream or Volumizing Mascara.

Cheeks: Whether you prefer cream or powder, kiss the apples of your cheeks with any of our sheer Color Cremes or Cheek Colors. If you prefer a cream product, use your finger or a MUD Professional Make-up Sponge. If you prefer a powder product, use the #710s Powder Blush Brush.

Lips: Last but not least, treat your lips to a burst of color with any of our six beautiful shades of Lip Glaze.
