Some people are afraid of filling in their eyebrows with a pencil for fear that they won’t look natural. Here are a few tips to get the longevity of the waxy product with the softness of an eye shadow. To fill in eyebrows for a natural look, try transferring the pigment from your choice of Eye Pencil onto the #210 Angle Liner Brush.

When choosing a color, keep in mind the look you’re going for. For a natural look you may want to start with the Taupe Eye Pencil. If you prefer a bolder eyebrow, you may want to add or start with a darker color to balance out the weight – for example, the Rich Brown Eye Pencil for a brunette or the Auburn Eye Pencil for a red head.

As a right-handed artist, I use my left hand to hold the Eye Pencil with the sharpened end facing upward. With my right hand, I take the #210 Angle Liner Brush and rest my right pinky on the Eye Pencil. Then I place the bristles on the sharpened end and I sweep the brush in a back-and-forth motion to lightly transfer the color. It’s always better to build your product during the application.

Depending on the eyebrow, you could fill in from the base of the brow any area that may be sparse. If needed, you could fill in the entire eyebrow starting from the base of the inner eyebrow with small upward strokes. Follow the arch peak and taper as you move to the outer corner where the eyebrow ends. You should have equal weight throughout the eyebrow. Repeat on the other side. Remember, it is important to have equal weight on both brows.
