Cheek color can make or break a beauty make-up. Too much can scream amateur, and too little can leave you looking drained of life. Look at the tips of your fingers for a hint of what a natural blush color is for you. Use light, circular sweeping motions with the brush starting at the bottom of the cheekbone by the ear and sweeping up over the cheekbone, getting more product under the cheekbone and less on top. Fade the color out to the natural highlight of the top of the cheekbone.
You can layer a slightly more intense color (for lighter complexions, try MUD Rose Petal) over a lighter wash of color (such as MUD Warm Bisque) to achieve a more blended natural look. As always, you should use good lighting when applying make-up. Double check your application in a mirror when you step into a different light source, and adjust if necessary. I especially like MUD #510 Brush for a light touch and for layering color.

I think it is very pretty and natural to blend out a little foundation(sometimes a half shade lighter than rest of face) from the folds of the nose to the apples of the cheeks after appling your blush so you get that natural highlight. http://www.aboutheface.com
