Last weekend, at our free monthly workshops in LA and NY, we showed our participants how to create a glitzy smoky eye perfect for your New Year’s Eve celebration using our Silver Bells Holiday Kit. It contains everything needed to create a flawless look for a special evening. In case you missed it, I’m going to show you how to recreate the look from last weekend’s event using this special kit:
Eyes: Lightly apply base with #300S Shadow Blender Brush over the upper lid to provide a clean, smooth and consistent surface for the eye shadow application. With the #710S Powder Blush Brush dust a loose powder on the lid to set the base. To create a glitzy smoky eye, load #330S Shadow Fluff Brush with Tinsel Eye Color and stipple (a soft tapping motion) on the inner corner of the top lid to the center of the eye. If necessary, reload the brush and apply the Tinsel to the inner corner of the lower lid and drag to the center. Wipe off the excess Tinsel with a tissue and play up the Midnight Eye Color. Lightly brush the Midnight from the outer corner of the top lid and blend into the Tinsel. With #810 Smudger Brush, smudge the Midnight on the upper lash line and blend upward into the Tinsel. Connect the Midnight on the outer corner of the eye to the lower lid by creating a smoky drop shadow with the #810 brush. “To face unafraid,” build the Graphite Eye Color with #810 brush on top of the Midnight as a pop of color for the upper and lower lash line. Use #800S Crease Brush dry (without product) to soften the edges in the crease and the bottom liner. For more definition, and to give the illusion of volume to the upper and lower lashes, use the Black Eye Pencil inside the water line. To complete this glitzy smoky eye, apply a generous coat of Volumizing Mascara.
Note:
• For warmth, try using the Cool Mauve Cheek Color in the crease with The #800S brush.
• For deep set eyes, try using the Ice Eye Color in the inner corner of the eye with the #800S brush.
Cheeks: “Frolic and play” with the Cool Mauve Cheek Color and the #710S brush.
Lips: Your lips will glisten with our Bare Lip Glaze for this Winter’s Wonderland.
