Emmy Make-up Trends: Nude Lips and Flirty Eyes

Looks like the make-up on the Emmy’s red carpet was mostly nude lips and eyes to die for. It was all about the liner, lashes, and the occasional classic red lip. The ladies saved the drama for the dresses and opted for clean dewy skin and smoldering eyes… and we loved it! Cheers to Olivia Wilde for pulling off a clean, polished look. Now that’s how you do a nude lip and flirty eyes.
To get Olivia’s look:
1. Keep the skin clean by applying a light application of MUD Cream Foundation. To get a sheer application, mix in a bit of Face Primer. Keep it dewy by not setting with powder.
2. For a soft cheek, add a little Rose Petal Cheek Color to the apple of the cheek and contour with the Rose Beige Cheek Color.
3. For flirty eyes, start with MUD Galaxy Eye Color over the lid and just above the crease; be sure to apply below the bottom lashes as well. Just below the crease and starting from the inner corner, work your way out along the lid with Tinsel Eye Color. Add a little Tinsel to the inner bottom corner of the eye for some extra sparkle. For added intensity, add some Graphite Eye Color to the outer corners of the lid.
4. Line the lash line with MUD Black Cake Eyeliner and to the bottom inner membrane use the MUD Black Eye Pencil. For added drama, apply a couple of clump lashes to the outer corner and finish with two coats of MUD Volumizing or Cream Mascara.
5. For the finishing touches, add Rose Clay Lipstick and top off with Shine Lip Gloss for a shimmering lip.
