On February 17 from 4-7 pm students, graduates and administrators from Make-Up Designory in New York put on an event to help support relief efforts to Haiti. Students and graduates gave makeovers to people in the community on a voluntary donation basis. Participants were also able to have their pictures taken after receiving the makeover for personal use for their websites and social networking pages. Food was donated by Ciccone's Italian Deli and by Richie from Carlino's Catering (718) 407-9105, and coffee was donated by Ground Support in SOHO, NY.
Headshots were taken by Seth Miranda and action shots were taken by Karrisa Olsen. We were able to raise close to $400! All of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and to the students and graduates who donated their time. It was a wonderful event and we are grateful to all of those who participated!
