Hello, make-up artists! I wanted to take a moment to introduce Make-Up Designory’s Career Services department. At Career Services, we are pleased to offer continuous graduate assistance to active students and graduates based on individual needs. In addition to personal support, our services also include the MUD Job Board and Career Development workshops.
As the Director of Career Services, I am dedicated to familiarizing you with the business side of freelance make-up. For example, I’ll be introducing you to projects like how to create a resume for make-up, designing effective business cards, and easy ways to get your work on the internet. Aside from showing MUD students off to the world, I also work to guide them on how to budget projects, how to approach scripts, and know how to charge clients to keep their financial future bright. I know it sounds like no fun, but I promise you we keep it fun and interactive! After all, I am trying to teach you survival skills for the make-up industry.
Balancing your artistic talents with your business sense is a goal we share, and having ongoing Career Services will ensure your questions get answered at any point of your career. Feel free to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to helping you become the artist you want to be. My office is always open!

Dear Caolina,
It sounds like you are asking if it is possible to attend our school with limited understanding of English? If so, the answer is yes! We have many international students and since our method of teaching is very visual they have found it relatively easy to understand. You may want to read this article that has advice for international students: http://www.mudblog.net/blog/advice_int_students/ or feel free to contact the Admissions department in New York if you have further questions at 212-925-9250 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Thanks for your interest!

Do you ever intend on opening any other schools in other states. I have had the hardest time finding a good school here in Houston, TX. I can only hope that someone will realize we do not have schools that specialize in make up and open one soon.
Thanks for all you do and hope to hear from you soon
Have a blessed day!
