Proceeds from MUD Cares Palette to Build a Home for Orphans

Looking good has never felt so great.

We’ve got a lot to celebrate as the New Year begins! We are proud to announce that with your help, we’ve sold all of our MUD Cares Palettes of Eye Colors. These limited-edition palettes were developed to complement a wide range of skin tones – and to raise funds for a children’s home that is being constructed by the Red Rhino Orphanage Project in Kenya. 100% of the proceeds from your purchases are going toward building a safe, sustainable home for six children and one caregiver.

Last year, MUD Cares teamed up with NextAid and Red Rhino in an effort to help orphaned children in Africa who have lost their parents due to the AIDS epidemic. NextAid is a nonprofit organization committed to developing and implementing innovative solutions to the challenges facing African children. NextAid is collaborating with Red Rhino, an organization devoted to housing and educating some of the most desperate and unfortunate children in Kenya, enabling them to become contributing members of society and leaders of the next generation. The home that MUD has helped to build is part of a larger complex that Red Rhino is currently constructing. This complex will provide rescued children, children at risk and orphaned children in Kenya with a safe, healthy home. The orphanage will work in partnership with the surrounding community in ways that foster local commerce and positively impact the environment. Red Rhino is also putting resources in place to give these children the education, support and skills they will need in order to grow and thrive.
