Mud Cosmetics Now Available in Ireland!

Attention all MUD lovers: we are officially available in Ireland! Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies is a proud distributor for our fabulous cosmetic line. Not only am I excited about this because of my love for Guinness and my belief in a pot of gold at the end every rainbow, but more importantly because we have joined forces with such an excellent and professional company. So much so it makes this thing called “work” we do seem more like downright fun.

Flair was founded in Dublin, Ireland by Patrick Donnellan and originally started out as a small cash and carry beauty supplies establishment with only 3 employees in a 1200 square foot space. Patrick could see a high demand on the professional side of the business and realized how rapidly the industry was growing. He decided to take his company to the next level and in 1976 Flair became the first professional-only beauty supplier in all of Ireland.

Now, in 2011, the company is known as Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies, and has grown throughout Ireland to five large store locations in addition to their distribution warehouse. Patrick’s son, John has taken over and is now the Managing Director. John Donnellan is no stranger to this Industry as he’s been apart of this business for over 30 years. With now over 67 employees and a considerable more amount of square footage, this company has made its mark and continues to gain momentum.

We had the pleasure of meeting John Donnellan at Cosmoprof in Italy earlier this year and quickly realized working with him and the others at Flair could be quite a success. Since then I have been to Dublin to meet with John and members of his staff from all of their locations. I was so impressed with their professionalism, experience and excitement at introducing our cosmetic line to all of Ireland. We had over 60 people attending our workshops and make-up demonstrations while I was there, and the enthusiasm for a quality cosmetics company such as ours was through the roof! Thanks to Flair, MUD will only continue to grow in popularity and we are very excited to see the success of our combining forces
