MUD Europe Makes a Splash at the 2011 Miss Slovenia Competition!

This year, MUD Europe was a diamond sponsor and lead partner for the prestigious and popular Miss Slovenia Competition. We are proud to congratulate Miss Slovenia 2011, Lana Mahnič Jekoš, who will be going on to compete for the Miss World title in London on October 23, 2011. As the newly crowned Miss Slovenia, Lana received a fully stocked MUD make-up case and free courses in Beauty Make-Up at MUD Europe’s campus in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It was an exciting collaboration in many respects. Our team of make-up artists spent a month working with each of the 12 finalists, providing instruction on the fundamentals of personal make-up application, and helping each contestant to look her best. On the last day of the competition, five MUD make-up artists created looks for the finalists at a swimsuit shoot in Postojna Cave – one of Slovenia’s most beautiful natural settings. Our team also did the make-up for hosts and guests at the 1-1/2 hour live broadcast of the competition final on June 26, 2011 – a total of 60 people in four hours! We even had a MUD team member serving on the jury during the finale.

Our involvement in the event gave people a first-hand look at our quality products, talented professional artists and comprehensive educational approach, and the positive word of mouth from contestants, jurors and the media could not have been better. After this year’s incredible response, MUD has already signed on to be a sponsor for next year’s Miss Slovenia Competition.
