LIM College is holding its annual end-of-the-year fashion show at the Roseland Ballroom on April 8. The show is called Kemet because of its Ancient Egyptian inspiration. Since the show is taking place around Earth Day, LIM is working with GrowNYC and organic designers to generate more buzz about “green” fashion and beauty. Generous designers, like Study, H. Fredriksson, and many more, have donated clothing and accessories.

MUD students, Holly Ernst, Corinne Tucci, Alexandra Fairful, Danielle DelGandio, Lissette Pulido, Jennifer Provost, and Lauryn Hopwood, are capturing the Egyptian and Zen-like feel of the show in the make-up of 36 models. They will be challenged to create three looks that tell a story of social classes in Ancient Egypt ascending from lowest to highest. MUD’s Spring Into Beauty Collection was also donated for the raffle.

This will be the biggest show LIM College has ever done – over 1000 guests are expected. There will be 55 looks and 36 student and professional models. The anticipation of the show is growing more and more as the event gets closer, and we’re very excited to be a part of it.
