My Three All-Time Favorite MUD Products

When I conduct cosmetics trainings on product knowledge or lead a seminar or workshop on how to achieve a particular look, I find I am constantly referring to the majority of the products I am using as “my favorites.” Before I know it, I’ve used six products, five of which I’ve just deemed as favorites. How does that work?

Quite simply, I love them all and I use them all. For the sake of those who are newer to MUD products, I have sat down, thought long and hard, and by process of elimination (and a bit of anguish) I have decided on my top three favorite MUD products: three products absolutely necessary for a perfect makeup application; three products I physically could not leave my home without; three products where if I were trapped on a desert island… you get the idea. So, without further ado, here they are:

1. MUD Cream Foundation. These fantastic versatile foundations are designed to be used in many different ways. They can be used quite effectively not only as a flawless full coverage make-up, but sheered out for a beautifully natural finish using our MUD Face Primer. The versatility of this product is why I love it so much and will not leave home without it. Whether I use it as is or mixed with Face Primer, I’m always pleased with the results. As a professional, having both the Foundation Palette #1 and #2 in my kit beats having multiple foundations for multiple looks – I can match ANY skin tone using only two palettes of this perfectly formulated product! It’s amazing and definitely a favorite.

2. MUD Cake Eyeliner (in both Black and Brown)
I love this stuff… second favorite product by far! I’m obsessed with this product as it creates the stunning appearance of effortless application. I just down right love it! I use it to fill in brows, creating perfect hair like brush strokes using the #210 Angle Liner Brush or the #100 Round Liner Brush. When activated with water, this long-lasting eyeliner is notorious for its precision and beautiful matte finish. This product is otherwise known as my “right arm” when doing a professional make-up application – no eyeliner application is truly complete without this product, especially when applying false lashes. This product is key in concealing the appearance of false lashes whether they are strips or individuals, and is an all around spectacular MUST!

3. MUD Shine Lip Gloss. Hands down my all-time favorite lip gloss on the planet! It never fails me. I use it by itself as a sheer wash of color, over bright colors, or in an emergency with a mascara wand to keep those unruly brows in place… whatever! This product is never farther than just a couple inches from my reach. This rich, luminous lip gloss leaves lips feeling smooth and glossy with a radiant shine. Its beautiful light pink tint adds the perfect natural glow to the lip and looks picture perfect as if your lips jumped right off the cover of a fashion magazine. MWAH!
