After priming the skin and color correcting, the next phase in completing a natural beauty make-up look is base matching and foundation application.
Step 1: Base Matching
Select the foundation colors that may be a match from MUD’s Foundation Palette #1 using the Palette Knife. Test the foundation colors on the neck to find the closest match. Transfer the selected foundation to a Stainless Steel Palette for sanitation and ease of use.
Step 2: Foundation Application
Starting from the top of the forehead, apply the selected Cream Foundation with a Professional Make-up Sponge. Work down the face using small strokes to ensure an even coat allover the face. Don’t forget to apply foundation into the corner of the nose, on the eyelids, and under the eye. When working around the eye area, try using a light stippling technique – this will help to avoid and discomfort in the delicate eye area and keep the Corrector from lifting. Work the foundation all the way down onto the neckline for a seamless application.
