How to Create a “Picture Perfect” Bridal, Prom, or Special Occasion Make-up Look: Part 1

Every woman wants to look radiant on her special day – whether she’s getting married, going to the prom, or simply wants to look gorgeous on a special date. In the first part of this 2-part series, I am going to create a flawless look that is suitable for day or evening using our Picture Perfect Make-Up Kit, which contains the following:

· 4-Hole Eye Color Palette filled with Honeysuckle, Cashmere, Galaxy, and Espresso
· Glow Cheek Color
· #710S Powder Blush Brush
· Shine Lip Gloss
· #310S Portable Lip Brush

Get This Look:

Face/Cheeks: Starting with the #710S Powder Blush Brush, I applied DFL 1 Dual Finish Pressed Mineral Powder onto the face, using a sweeping motion for a sheer finish and stippling in areas that needed more coverage. Next, I applied Glow Cheek Color, starting at the apples of the cheeks and blending as I went along, applying a little bit around the perimeter of the face to bring the look together.

Eyes: Using the #210 Angle Liner Brush, I applied a small amount of Espresso Eye Color to the eyebrows, making sure I kept the natural arch of the brow. Next, I used the #800 Crease Brush to apply Galaxy Eye Color in the crease, starting from the outer corner and working in to the center of the lid, finishing at that outer lash line to create a sideways “V” shape. I then applied Cashmere Eye Color to the inner corner of the eyes with the #350 Shadow Blender Brush.

Lips: To complete this natural look, I applied a layer of Shine Lip Gloss with the #310S Portable Lip Brush.
