On November 18, Make-Up Designory in New York City held its first annual Portfolio Review. Representatives from agencies such as Artists by Timothy Priano, Jed Root, Utopia, and De Facto, Inc. participated in the event. Over 30 graduates came to show their portfolios and work – the event had a wonderful turnout and the graduates were very pleased. Some were able to meet with more than one agent and gained valuable feedback on their portfolios, including suggestions on areas for improvement.
This was a great event and wonderful experience for the graduates. In addition to meeting with the agents, they were also able to network with one another and exchange information. Many of the graduates were put on assistant lists and have already been called in for assisting jobs! Thank you for all of the agents who took time out of their busy schedules to help. Good luck to all those of you who came and for those of you who missed it – look out for the next one in the very near future!

Hey Jessica!
Thank you so much in your interest. I am currently planning one for later on in the year for our graduates, probably in the spring/summer. I will announce it on the job website and facebook.
Best,
Angelique
