It’s prom season and I’m going to show you how to create a beautiful and long-lasting make-up look. My model Madeline is actually going to the prom, but for those of you who aren’t, this look can translate to a fabulous evening look for a night out on the town!
Get this look:
FACE: When going to the prom your make-up has to last, so the best way to ensure that your make-up won’t leave the party before you do is to apply MUD Face Primer before your Cream Foundation. This will increase the wearability of your overall make-up and leave you with a flawless finish.
EYES: For this look, it’s all about the eyes. Begin by using Black Forest Eye Pencil on the lid to create a cream-like base. Using the #810 Smudger Brush, blend out the pencil from the lash line up into the crease by using short back-and-forth strokes until evenly distributed. Next, take the #800 Crease Brush and apply a bit of Tea Tree Eye Color to the lid over the top of the blended pencil. This will allow the shadow to stick and catch the cream base created by the pencil and will prevent creasing and loss of color pigmentation throughout your evening. Continue to use the #800 Brush, and blend the color evenly and up into the crease. Now it’s time to add a little dimension. Using Graphite Eye Color and the #330 Shadow Fluff Brush, place a small amount in the outer corner of the eye starting in the crease and blending down towards the lash line. Next, use Bronzed Eye Shadow as the highlight for the lid. Use the #800 Brush to place it lightly in the inner corner of the lash line and blend to the middle of the lid. Apply Honeysuckle Eye Color to the brow bone using the #330 Brush to complete the eye shadow application. Finish off those eyes with a clean winged out eye liner using the Black Cake Eyeliner and a few coats of Black Cream Mascara, and you are ready to rock!
CHEEKS: Warm up those cheeks with a mixture of Bubblegum and Rose Petal Cheek Color. Tip: All-over Bronzer in either Sunshine or Endless Summer can be used with both these cheek colors and will complement your overall look nicely.
LIPS: For perfect prom lips start by lightly lining the lips in Natural Lip Pencil. Then, apply just a dash of Shine Lip Gloss. Together, it’s a teenage dream!
