Renew your look this Spring and Summer with gentle pastels and vivid shades. Subtle creams, pinks, silvers and warm browns create a soft foundation, while vivid tones of yellow, orange, lavender and turquoise add lively pops of color.
The following looks were created with the Spring into Beauty Collection, which was inspired by the hottest color trends of the season. This kit includes the following products:
• 4-Hole Eye Color Palette with Honeysuckle, Canyon, Daisy and Pacific Eye Colors
• Gingerbread Cheek Color
• Cantaloupe Lip Glaze
• Cosmetic Bag
All brushes can be found in the Travel Brush Kit.
Spring Look #1: A Day at Work (Daytime)
Eyes: To highlight and brighten the eye, use the #330S Shadow Fluff Brush to dust Honeysuckle Eye Color onto the entire lid. To create a bolder, more vivid color, substitute Honeysuckle with Daisy Eye Color. Using the #800S Crease Brush, apply Canyon Eye Color in the natural crease of the eye. Make sure to start from the outer corner and taper as you move the brush to the tear duct. Apply Cream or Volumizing Mascara to define the eye.
Cheeks: Using the #710S Powder Brush, lightly brush Gingerbread Cheek Color onto the cheeks, beginning at the top of the ear in the center of the cheekbone and continuing in a circular motion to the apple of the cheeks. This color is rich in pigment – a little goes a long way!
Lips: For a quick and beautiful shine, apply Cantaloupe Lip Glaze to the lips.
Spring Look #2: Time for Play (Evening)
Eyes: With your day look already established, it’s time to bump it up for the evening! Lightly sweep the brow bone with Honeysuckle using the #330S Brush. For more intense color, apply Daisy to the lid with the #330S Brush using a tapping motion. To intensify the look, add Pacific Eye Color to the crease with the #800S Brush, following the existing Canyon Eye Color already applied in the crease. Soften the edges in the crease if necessary. Dampen the #210S Angle Liner Brush and apply Pacific as a wet liner, starting from the inner tear duct and following the lash line on the top lid. Finish this look with a coat of Cream or Volumizing Mascara.
Spring Look #3: Spring Smoke (Smoky Eye)
Eyes: Begin by applying a natural daytime eye color treatment as outlined in Look #1. Using the #330S Brush, lightly tap Pacific Eye Color onto the entire top lid. Turn the brush on its side and connect the Pacific on the outer corner, following the lower lash line to the tear duct. Use a clean #800S Brush to blend and soften the edges in the crease and lower lid. Finish this look with a coat of Cream or Volumizing Mascara.
