This Spring’s color choices range from a natural backdrop in creams, beiges and browns to pops of bold colors like yellows, lavenders and teals. People often ask me, “Can I use warm and cool colors together?” My answer to that is, “Of course you can!” In celebration of this season’s color trends, I’ve created a warm and cool Eye Color palette for our Spring Into Beauty Collection. The Honeysuckle is a nice highlight, the Canyon is a pretty contour or crease color and the Daisy or Pacific adds a pop of cool color to any look.

For this video tutorial I’ve decided to create a simple, natural beauty look that’s perfect for daytime. In Part 2, I'll show you how to take this look into the evening.

The following products used in this tutorial are part of our Spring Into Beauty Collection, available for a special price of $49.95 ($94.50 retail value) through April 30, 2011:

4-Hole Eye Color Palette filled with Honeysuckle, Canyon, Daisy, and Pacific Eye Colors
Gingerbread Cheek Color
Cantaloupe Lip Glaze
Cosmetic Bag

I also used brushes from our Travel Brush Kit to complete the look.

Eyes: Use the #330S Shadow Fluff Brush to apply Honeysuckle Eye Color as a highlighter directly under the eyebrow on the brow bone. Starting at the outer corner, brush forward and blend it into the inner corner of the eye. You can even highlight this area where shadows are usually cast. Blend down to the crease. With the same #330S Brush lightly dust Canyon Eye Color onto the lid, close to the lash line and lightly brush upward. Continue to build up color, especially on the outer corners where there is the most impact. Define eyes with Volumizing Mascara.

Cheeks: To create a warm glow, use the #710S Powder Blush Brush and Gingerbread Cheek Color. Start from the hairline to create an overall glow, bring it down to the cheeks, and kiss the apples of the cheeks.

Lips: To complete the look, use the #310S Portable Lip Brush to apply Cantaloupe Lip Glaze. Start at the outer corner and drag it forward to the center of the lips to fill in.
