Angelique Velez

Angelique Velez is the Director of Career Services at Make-Up Designory’s New York campus. She was born and raised in New York and then moved to Miami for four years where she received her BA in psychology with a minor in education from the University of Miami. Since her return back to New York, she worked for cosmetics companies such as Tony & Tina, Anna Sui and MAC Cosmetics while working full time in residential life at Hofstra University, where she attained her master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy. Ms. Velez has worked on fashion shows for Cynthia Steffe, Peter Som, Karen Walker and RAD by Rad Hourani and with leading artists such as Christian McCulloch, Yuko Takahashi, Hung Vanngo, Ve Neill, Makky and Tom Pecheux. She is passionate about applying her counseling background and also knowledge of the make-up industry to help others achieve their goals.
